Trinseo to Hold Fourth Paper Coating Symposium

2016 Specialty Paper Symposium Introduces Trends and Advanced Technologies of Specialty Paper Applications

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders, and synthetic rubber, today announced it will hold its annual paper coating symposium, named “2016 Specialty Paper Symposium” from August 25 – 26, 2016 in QuZhou China. Trinseo is pleased to partner with South China University of Technology (SCUT) and Zhejiang Winbon Special Paper Co., Ltd. to organize this event.

One hundred attendees, consisting of Trinseo customers, faculty members, and industrial professionals are expected to join the symposium, which is meant to enhance cooperation between the industry and academy, in addition to providing a platform for information sharing and networking.

The symposium consists of lectures delivered by Trinseo technical experts, faculty members from SCUT, and other renowned overseas academic institutions, as well as industrial practitioners. This year, Trinseo is delighted to have seven distinguished speakers deliver nine presentations. Presentation topics include global market trends in specialty paper, new technologies for specialty papers, bio-materials for specialty papers, and functional, barrier, and intelligent coatings.  In addition to lectures, a round table discussion, a factory visit, and a networking lunch and dinner are planned.
