Recordable Injuries

Trinseo’s recordable injury rate for 2016 was 0.07, the lowest it has been in five years, and a rate that is significantly lower in comparison to other manufacturers and American Chemistry Council (ACC) member companies.

Recordable injuries include work-related injuries or illness of a worker that results in medical treatment beyond first aid, loss of consciousness, restricted work, or missed days of work as directed by a physician.

Unlike many other companies in the chemical industry, Trinseo includes contract employees in our injury reporting metric.
