Since the beginning of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease outbreak, Trinseo has set up a Global Crisis Management Team to closely monitor the situation and take appropriate actions, including precautionary safety measures inside our plants, offices, and other locations. The Global Crisis Management Team also assesses all external factors that could impact the continuity of our operations, as the security of supply to our customers is of utmost importance to Trinseo. We are working diligently to meet your needs.
Trinseo’s manufacturing operations are considered essential by government authorities around the world, because we produce materials that are intrinsic to life-sustaining products such as medical devices, protective equipment, and food packaging. Our plants continue to operate and produce and ship materials to our customers.
We all understand that the entire value chain is impacted by this pandemic. Due to COVID-19, we anticipate logistics constraints beyond our control such as capacity and availability of certain ports, vessels, and commercial ground transportation given the acts of governmental authorities enforcing strict border controls. We kindly ask for your understanding as we cannot accept any responsibility for these delays in transportation due to COVID-19.
Trinseo is closely monitoring the situation and in regular contact with our service providers. Should there be changes that would arise, such as delays and surcharges that are related to logistics, we will notify you in a timely manner.
