Trinseo Achieves Silver Medal in Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis for the Third Consecutive Year

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, has achieved a Silver Medal in Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis three years in a row since 2019. The Company’s scores have been gradually improving year after year.

In its latest Sustainability Performance Overview, Trinseo’s 2021 overall score is in the top 13% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the manufacturing industry of plastics products. The assessment focuses on 21 sustainability criteria grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. Other noteworthy ratings of Trinseo include:

  • Environment - top 25%
  • Labor & Human Rights - top 24%
  • Sustainable Procurement - top 23%
  • Ethics - top 17%
