PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ Acrylic Resins

PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™

PLEXIGLAS® REFLECT™ resin is formulated to exhibit excellent UV resistance and weatherability, and is easily processed using injection molding or extrusion. This new product can be used in combination with lenses made from other PLEXIGLAS® resins, including our PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ resins.
PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE ULTRA™ V045-68210 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin sufficiently concentrated to be used in blend formulations to tailor lens properties in the LED lighting market. It is characterized by its exceptional hiding performance and high light transmission.
PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ V045-68207 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin formulated for injection molding and extrusion applications in the LED lighting market. It is characterized by an excellent balance of transmission and hiding performance. It exhibits a textured surface when extruded.
PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ V045-68209 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin sufficiently concentrated to be used in blend formulations via extrusion to tailor lens properties in the LED lighting market. It is characterized by its exceptional hiding performance and high light transmission.
PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ DR™-66151 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin sufficiently concentrated to be used in blend formulations via extrusion to tailor lens properties in the LED lighting market. It is characterized by its outstanding hiding performance and high impact resistance.
PLEXIGLAS® Frosted Acrylic Resin
PLEXIGLAS® Frosted acrylic resins are materials with a unique finish and appearance. It allows the user to minimize visual defects such as fingerprints, scratches, and smudges. Because of the unique texture, this lightweight material is glass-like without the danger of shattering. The finish is durable and is perfect for backdrops, columns, illuminated signs, shelving, tabletops, visual displays, packaging, visual displays, and consumer goods to name a few.

PLEXIGLAS® Granite Acrylic Resin
PLEXIGLAS® Granite acrylic resin gives designers the freedom to duplicate the beauty of natural stone without the disadvantages of real stone. The extruded sheet featuring this specialty grade can be textured, rough, pebbled, or smooth and can be manufactured to be semi-translucent or fully opaque. Unlike naturally occurring stone, this material will be non-porous which allows for a low maintenance finish.

PLEXIGLAS® Impact Modified Acrylic Resins
PLEXIGLAS® Impact Modified resins are characterized by three primary features: toughness, heat resistance, and processability. Individual grades are formulated with varying combinations of these characteristics to meet specific applications needs. Impact Modified grades are typically used in durable applications ranging from transportation to weatherable capstocks to lighting, medical devices, and consumer durable goods.

PLEXIGLAS® V Grade Acrylic Resins
PLEXIGLAS® V Grade acrylic resins provide exceptional optical clarity and resistance to UV light degradation and discoloration making them the industry standard for applications where outdoor and indoor weatherability is paramount. The resins are characterized by superior thermal stability, extrusion melt strength, excellent tool surface reproduction, and release properties.
