Our polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) resins in the PLEXIGLAS® Frosted portfolio give you design flexibility and are available in unmodified and impact-modified formulations. When extruded, this lightweight material exhibits exceptional light transmission, high haze, and a textured surface that minimizes visual defects such as fingerprints, scratches, and smudges. PLEXIGLAS® Frosted

PLEXIGLAS® Frosted V825-68177 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin formulated for injection molding and extrusion applications. It is characterized by its high heat resistance, and translucent or frosted appearance. It exhibits exceptional light transmission, high haze, and has a textured surface when extruded.

PLEXIGLAS® Frosted DR™-66080 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin formulated for injection molding and extrusion applications. It is characterized by its high impact resistance and translucent or frosted appearance. It exhibits exceptional light transmission, high haze, and has a textured surface when extruded.

PLEXIGLAS® Frosted V045-68177 is a thermoplastic acrylic resin formulated for injection molding and extrusion applications. It is characterized by its good heat resistance and translucent or frosted appearance. It exhibits exceptional light transmission, high haze, and has a textured surface when extruded.

PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ acrylic resins
PLEXIGLAS® DIFFUSE™ acrylic resins are materials with unique light management characteristics such that light transmission is maximized while conversely affording the best hiding power possible. This is especially important in lighting and display applications.

PLEXIGLAS® Granite acrylic resin
PLEXIGLAS® Granite acrylic resin gives designers the freedom to duplicate the beauty of natural stone without the disadvantages of real stone. The extruded sheet featuring this specialty grade can be textured, rough, pebbled, or smooth and can be manufactured to be semi-translucent or fully opaque. Unlike naturally occurring stone, this material will be non-porous which allows for a low maintenance finish.

PLEXIGLAS® Impact Modified Acrylic Resins
PLEXIGLAS® Impact Modified resins are characterized by three primary features: toughness, heat resistance, and processability. Individual grades are formulated with varying combinations of these characteristics to meet specific applications needs. Impact Modified grades are typically used in durable applications ranging from transportation to weatherable capstocks to lighting, medical devices, and consumer durable goods.

PLEXIGLAS® V Grade Acrylic Resins
PLEXIGLAS® V Grade acrylic resins provide exceptional optical clarity and resistance to UV light degradation and discoloration making them the industry standard for applications where outdoor and indoor weatherability is paramount. The resins are characterized by superior thermal stability, extrusion melt strength, excellent tool surface reproduction, and release properties.
