One hundred percent recyclable: PolyMethylMethAcrylate (PMMA)

PMMA is a durable and sustainable product that is 100 percent recyclable. When heated under suitable conditions, PolyMethylMethAcrylate (PMMA) breaks down again into its original monomer, MethylMethAcrylate (MMA). This process, known as depolymerization, is used industrially to recycle PMMA and produce MMA that can be reused. PMMA can also be reground, melted, and extruded into new products. The recycled material can be reused. This not only saves raw materials, but also reduces waste.
