Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics and latex binders, and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), ABS and SAN grades. Effective March 8 or as existing contract terms allow the contract and spot prices for the products listed below have been adjusted to reflect current market conditions as follows:
- STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by +350 Euro per metric ton
- STYRON™ and STYRON™ A-TECH, STYRON™ C-TECH and STYRON™ X- TECH high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by +350 Euro per metric ton
- CALIBRE™ Polycarbonate Resins by +500 Euro per metric ton
- MAGNUM™ ABS resins by +350 Euro per metric ton
- TYRIL™ SAN resins by +350 Euro per metric ton
