Giving back to the communities we serve is intrinsic to who Trinseo is as an organization. Since the outbreak of Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), we have been extending our care to the communities where we are based.
To maintain good personal hygiene, washing hands frequently with liquid soap and water, and rubbing for at least 20 seconds are essential. If hand washing facilities are not available, performing hand hygiene with 70% alcohol-based hand rub is an effective alternative. During the current epidemic, there is a shortage of hand sanitizer in the market, and available stock can come with a high price tag. In light of this, Trinseo Hong Kong sourced and donated hand sanitizer to both Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service Tsing Yi Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and Missing Link – Polyfoam Recycling Scheme, benefiting hundreds of families and cleaners in the city.
Trinseo Hong Kong’s Alfred Chan, Site Leader, Plastics Operations, Tsing Yi Plant and Martin Chan, Office Manager were photographed above with beneficiaries who will dispatch the hand sanitizers to families and individuals in need. Let’s again look at the smiles behind the masks.
