Environmental, health, and safety are among our highest priorities, which means that every decision we make prioritizes the safety of our people, our communities, and the environment.

Our culture is brought to life by the people who are passionate about Trinseo, and our Sustainable Workforce goals reflect the inclusive, diversified environment we want to foster in our offices and facilities.

We continue to refine this goal to best fit our Trinseo culture. By adjusting this goal to increase the number of women candidates, we are shifting focus to closing development gaps for our existing equal opportunity workforce.

In 2024, Trinseo experienced an incident rate of 0.30, which represents injuries and illnesses per 200,000 hours worked. We advanced hazard awareness and reduced risk through initiatives like the "Safe Summer and Beyond" campaign. Additionally, we introduced the  Trinseo Safe Behaviors, which outlines 10 safety practices that we expect all employees and contractors to follow.

We continue to refine our Sustainable Workforce Goals to support our inclusive and talented workforce. By enhancing this goal to identify groups where turnover rate differs from our global rate, we can continue to create a more inclusive culture.

We are working to establish metrics for success while expanding our talent programs. 

While we are making progress against this goal, we are also working to establish metrics and targets to help us measure success.
