Mass Balance Approach

We evaluate the environmental impact of our sustainable products throughout their lifetime via Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which gives us a toolkit of accurate product classifications and potential hazards. Our sustainable products are also supported by Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations to provide customers with data about our low-carbon solutions.

PHA Dispersion Partnership with RWDC Industries

Trinseo and RWDC Industries LLC have partnered to further the development of sustainably advantaged paper and board packaging solutions by bringing polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) dispersion technology to target markets. Although in the early stages, we expect to offer a suite of products in the near future based on PHA dispersion technology in markets and applications where this chemistry can bring added value and further our sustainable product offering.
