Correcting the Historical Environmental Performance Record of the Altuglas LLC Facility in Bristol, PA

Trinseo PLC would like to take this opportunity to correct the record about the historical environmental performance of the Altuglas LLC facility in Bristol, Pa. This in no way minimizes the seriousness of the accidental release that occurred on Friday, March 24. We are dismayed by the release and by the knowledge that our community was disrupted as a result.

The address for the Altuglas facility is 100 Route 413, Bristol, PA 19007. The facility’s Federal Registry Service identification number (FRS ID) is 110000336191. Trinseo PLC took ownership of the facility in 2021. The facility has a history of compliance with environmental regulations. As indicated by EPA’s Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO) database, the facility has had no significant violations, no quarters of noncompliance (3 years) and no formal enforcement actions (5 years).
