Highlights from the Sustainability Report

Unifying Sustainability & Innovation

To create better synergy for sustainability innovation, in 2024, Han Hendriks, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and Sustainability Officer at Trinseo, transitioned into a new leadership role to bring R&D and Sustainability under one leader. Now, the R&D and Sustainability Business and Services (SBS) teams can work in lockstep with the business segments to develop material solutions that meet customer needs and advance our collective sustainable product goals.

Advancing Our 2030 Sustainability Goals

In 2024, Trinseo achieved five of its 17 goals in the categories of Supplier Responsibility, Responsible Operations and Climate Change. This achievement is just the first step in our continued progress in the areas of supplier due diligence, water reduction, Scope 3 emissions management and on-site renewable energy sourcing.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The SDGs continue to serve as a guiding framework for Trinseo’s sustainability strategy, providing a shared, global blueprint for peace, prosperity and environmental responsibility. They are part of our ongoing strategy, particularly our Sustainability Goals.
