Trinseo Announces Price Increase Polystyrene, Polycarbonate and Copolymers in Europe
Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, and its affiliate companies in Europe announced today a price increase for all polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC), ABS and SAN grades. Effective January 1, 2021, or as existing contract terms allow, the contract and spot prices for the products listed below will increase as follows:
- STYRON™ general purpose polystyrene grades (GPPS) by 135 Euro per metric ton
- STYRON™ and STYRON A-Tech™, STYRON C-Tech™ and STYRON X- Tech™ high impact polystyrene grades (HIPS) by 135 Euro per metric ton
- CALIBRE™ Polycarbonate Resins by 300 Euro per metric ton
- MAGNUM™ ABS resins by 400 Euro per metric ton
- TYRIL™ SAN resins by 170 Euro per metric ton
