Trinseo’s Zhangjiagang Site Reelected as One of the Top 100 Enterprises in 2019

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders, and synthetic rubber, announced that its Zhangjiagang (ZJG) Site in China has once again won the "Top 100 Enterprises in Zhangjiagang City" for 2019. With operational excellence and outstanding local contributions, Trinseo ZJG site has won an honorary certificate and a medal awarded by the local ZJG government. The exciting news came shortly after its latex plant was recognized as the "2019 Jiangsu Province Model Intelligent Production Facility."

Trinseo's ZJG Site was established in 1998 and covers an area of 130,000 square meters. Strategically located along the Yangtze River, the site serves as Trinseo's main manufacturing facility in mainland China, producing mainly ABS resins and styrene-butadiene latex. A Responsible Care^® China entity, the site has always placed great importance on production intelligence, and strives to produce eco-friendly, high-quality products for China and the global market.

In recent years, the ZJG Site has actively implemented various energy-saving transformations and plastic particle control. In regard to occupational safety, it has made every effort to ensure the safety of its employees. Adopting the principle of caring for the community where Trinseo operates and lives, the ZJG Site actively organizes and participates in various CSR activities, and has donated protective materials to local communities during the recent coronavirus pandemic.
