SAP S/4HANA Upgrade – Information for Customers and Suppliers

Trinseo is on a growth journey to become a global specialty materials and sustainable solutions provider, and part of this journey includes transforming our processes and systems. We’re building a foundation for the future, which involves consolidating the five Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and upgrading to the latest SAP solution, SAP S/4HANA.

Our transition to S/4HANA is a multi-year initiative and will be done in phases. The timing of when you may be impacted depends on the Trinseo entity with which you do business. Some of the changes you may experience include:

  • Suppliers: Submitting invoices for payment to a new focal point/email address, and new contacts for Accounts Payable support.
  • Customers: Having a new focal point for Accounts Receivable inquiries, or needing to update the banking details for payments to be remitted.
  • Suppliers and Customers: Receiving documentation (such as purchase requisitions and order acknowledgment forms) in an updated visual format.

Phase I, Wave 1 - July 2022:

Phase II - TBD 2023:

All legacy Trinseo entities globally, including:
