Trinseo’s MAGNUM™ ABS Resins offer significant benefits for injection molding and profile and sheet extrusion applications across a wide array of end markets. The material is manufactured with our proprietary continuous mass polymerization technology and, as compared to emulsion ABS, results in a more consistent, stable and reliable product with key benefits being:

• Excellent white base color
• Superior lot-to-lot consistency
• Low VOC level
• Low gel level

Our continuous mass polymerization process is economical. Since it yields a resin with highly consistent whiteness as a base color it is very cost-efficient for self-coloring. The superior natural whiteness of the resins makes in-house coloring easy, requiring less pigment.

MAGNUM™ ABS grades are also available as compounds with a variety of performance properties. They come with sustainably advantaged content as well, allowing customers to meet their sustainability objectives. And with the Trinseo MAGNUM™ ABS component, these materials offer the distinct advantages that ABS produced with mass polymerization brings.
