Trinseo Showcases Rigid & Soft Plastics for Medical Devices in Shanghai

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, will showcase its product portfolio of high performance rigid- and soft-touch plastics for medical devices at the China International Component Manufacturing and Design Show (ICMD) in Shanghai from May 14-17.

ICMD brings together businesses from across the medical device industry from manufacturers to upstream product suppliers, which include materials, design, R&D, components, parts, and more. The event is hosted alongside the China International Medical Equipment Fair, one of the world’s leading global integrated service platforms in the value chain of medical devices. It will be Trinseo’s second time participating in the trade show.

As a single-source supplier of rigid- and soft-touch plastics, Trinseo specializes in high-performance solutions. Trinseo’s polymers can be used alone, in combination with other polymer types, and even overmolded using co-injection or insert-molding technology. Amy Wang, Senior Technical Service and Development Engineer, will deliver a technical presentation at the 11th Medical Grade Resins Technology Forum at ICMD.
