Trinseo (NYSE: TSE) a global materials company and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders, and synthetic rubber, announced today that eighteen manufacturing teams and three global research and development groups earned Trinseo’s Triple Zero Award in 2017, marking another exceptional environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) performance by company employees across the globe. In 2017, twenty-one of the thirty eligible global sites achieved this high recognition for safety, represent nearly 1,400 employees in 10 countries.

The Triple Zero program was created in 2010 to recognize company facilities and groups that complete a calendar year with zero injuries according to U.S. OSHA criteria, zero spills and zero process safety incidents according to criteria set by the American Chemistry Council (ACC).
