Trinseo Makes Debut at Auto Shanghai 2019

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders and synthetic rubber, completed its debut exhibition at the Auto Shanghai 2019 which took place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China from April 18-25.

The rapid development of the Chinese automotive industry demands new, advanced technologies and R&D concepts. Auto Shanghai was founded in 1985, making it the oldest international professional automotive show in China. The event serves as a major gathering for leaders in the automotive industry, bringing together experts both from Mainland China and abroad.

Trinseo’s first-time participation showcasing the Company’s automotive product portfolio – including rigid plastics such as ABS, PC/ABS, PP-LGF, and soft-touch plastics such as TPE – was well-received by numerous visitors. The parts displayed at the Trinseo booth provided visitors with inspiration on the Company’s proven product quality. The exchange of ideas has enabled Trinseo to understand even more of the material challenges the automotive industry is facing.

During Auto Shanghai 2019, Trinseo also held more than 20 customer meetings with in-depth discussions on product offerings, giving potential clients a better understanding of how Trinseo’s products are able to benefit various automotive applications.
