Trinseo’s Rho site was recently visited by DNV Business Assurance Italy, an independent assurance and risk management company, that verified Trinseo’s environmental claims for the R-Life PMMA resins, made with mechanically and chemically recycled feedstocks, against the ISO14021 standard for recycled contents. The successful verification means Trinseo is complying with the requirements of the internationally recognized standards, and the company’s self-declarations are accurate.
This recognition speaks to Trinseo’s commitment to ensuring that processes are not only effective but also transparent and consistent with best practices worldwide. This achievement is more than just a title—it is a testament to our facility's dedication to operating responsibly and sustainably.
Trinseo’s Rho PMMA manufacturing facility is the third of the company’s sites whose self-declared environmental claims were successfully verified, joining Hsinchu in Taiwan (recycled-containing polycarbonate grades), and Mussolente in Italy (recycled-containing TPU grades).
