The Trinseo Hsinchu site safely completed its annual volunteer day activity on July 2, 2023. The event, titled “Ocean CleanUP”, included a total of 64 employees as well as family members, which surpassed previous participant totals for similar volunteer events over the last decade.

Apart from being an active member of Operation Clean Sweep®, Trinseo has always been devoted to sustainable management, attaching great importance to environmental protection.During this volunteer day event, Trinseo employees from the Hsinchu site focused their efforts on waste classification education, which is in line with the local authority’s focus on 3R (reuse, recycle and reduce).
During the event participants from the Trinseo Hsinchu site collected 44.5 kg of recyclable waste and 40.3 kg of other waste; a great result that benefits everyone within the local community.
