Trinseo (NYSE: TSE), a global materials solutions provider and manufacturer of plastics, latex binders, and synthetic rubber, is delighted to announce that PT Trinseo Materials Indonesia received the Best Supplier Award 2019 from PT Panasonic Manufacturing Indonesia, for the sixth consecutive year.
Trinseo’s partnership with Panasonic began more than two decades ago. Annually, Trinseo supplies a few thousand metric tonnes of polystyrene resins – which are used for manufacturing refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and electric fans – directly to Panasonic. Trinseo also supplies third-party refrigerator sheet makers who in turn sell those finished products to Panasonic. Although there will be no award ceremony due to the pandemic, the news was still quite encouraging and well-received by the Trinseo Indonesia team.
“This great news reflects Panasonic Indonesia’s appreciation for our mutually-beneficial partnership through the years,” said Steve Lin, Trinseo’s APAC Sales Director for Plastics. “We could not have achieved this without the concerted efforts of all Trinseo colleagues at departments like Commercial, CSR, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Supply Chain. We plan to keep up the good work as to continue to win the trust of Panasonic in the years to come.”
