Trinseo participated in RubberTech China for the first time last week, and we were delighted to have a chance to meet with our customers and also industry professionals to understand their needs and challenges in materials for performance tires.

Technical Presentation

RubberTech, which took place in Shanghai from September 18-20, 2019, provided a platform for tire value chain practitioners to meet. The exhibition also provided multiple technical seminars. Trinseo participated in one of them to share our expertise in S-SBR for performance tires and involvement in the trend toward sustainability in the tire industry.

Made in Germany Since 1937

During the event, the Trinseo APAC team held good discussions with customers from China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, South East Asia, and India. In addition to further support business growth in the Asia Pacific region, Trinseo also met with companies focusing on application testing for tires, adjacent products to tires and technical rubber goods, universities and research institutes to explore the possibility of providing solutions to the tire and technical rubber goods industries.

Horse made by recycled tires

In our booth, a dark-colored horse greeted visitors in a majestic way. The horse was made from recycled tires, representing our commitment in sustainability and signified overcoming obstacles and success.
